Caring for Your Crown, Bridge or Veneers

- 1Avoid hot food or drinks until the anaesthesia wears off.
- 2Avoid chewing hard food on the treated teeth.
- 3Brush and floss normally. Use dental bridge floss to clean under the bridge.
- 4Mild sensitivity may occur.
- 5Contact us if the bridge or crown feels high.
- 6Avoid chewing pens, ice, or anything of that nature.
- 7Cut down on foods that stain teeth — curry, coffee, tea, cola, red wine, tobacco, coloured sports drinks, berries.
- 8Avoid smoking.
- 9Avoid opening bottles, screws, or anything similar with your teeth.
- 10Wear a night guard if you grind your teeth.
- 11Visit us every 24 months for check-ups.
