Slindile Zondo is a qualified Dental Assistant who completed her training at the Durban University of Technology (DUT) in 2019. She plays an important role in supporting the clinical team at Ultra Smile Dental Studio, helping to ensure that patients receive efficient, safe and comfortable dental care.
In her role, Slindile works alongside the dentists during dental procedures, assisting with the preparation of instruments and equipment, maintaining infection prevention and control standards, and ensuring that the clinical environment is clean, organised and ready for patient care.
Scope of Practice
Slindile's role includes chairside assistance during dental procedures, preparation and handling of dental instruments and materials, maintenance of a clean and hygienic clinical environment, and adherence to infection prevention and control protocols. She also supports patient comfort and helps ensure that the dental team can deliver care efficiently.
As an essential member of the clinical team, Slindile contributes to creating a welcoming and professional environment where patients feel comfortable throughout their dental visits.
